Debut in the Dvořák Hall at the Rudolfinum in Prague with Julia Fischer
In April 2024, I had the wonderful opportunity, to perform Bach’s Double Violin Concerto with the Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, at the invitation of my professor Julia Fischer as part of her ‘residency’ in Prague. Sharing the stage with Julia as a soloist was a tremendous pleasure, as was rehearsing with this world-class orchestra; it was also a highly instructive experience. The concert took place in the legendary Great Hall of the Rudolfinum, named after Antonín Dvořák, who conducted the Czech Philharmonic’s very first concert right here.
It is undoubtedly the hall that has impressed me the most so far, and where I have felt most at home on stage. This is particularly due to its outstanding acoustics, which give you the feeling that even the smallest musical detail is audible to every member of the audience. Tours with the deutschen Streicherphilharmonie
In 2023, between two of my A-level exams, I went on tour with the Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie for the first time at the invitation of principal conductor Wolfgang Hentrich. I got on so well with the young musicians in the orchestra that, as early as the first concert, I was conducting the orchestra – which at times numbered over 60 musicians – parallel to performing the solo part. I was thrilled by these ‘play and conduct’ concerts. It is always very important to me to view the music in a truly holistic way and to have a vision of its interpretation that is not limited solely to the solo part, which was, of course, very helpful for this task of leading an orchestra.

Concerts with the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra
Since my debut with the orchestra in 2019, I have performed with them almost every year at the invitation of Chief Conductor Daniel Spaw. This has allowed me to gain stage experience performing many of the most important violin concertos. These include the violin concertos by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, Dvořák, Wieniawski and Mozart. I have also had the opportunity to work with various conductors and experience their different approaches; alongside Daniel Spaw himself, these include Andrej Vesel, Kazem Abdullah and Christian Simonis.

Chamber music
Chamber music has been very close to my heart since I was very young. Over the years, I have had countless opportunities to perform with many outstanding musicians, including: Julia Fischer, Nils Mönkemeyer, Hariolf Schlichtig, Sarah Christian, Alexander Sitkovetsky, Lena Neudauer, Markus Wolf, Roland Glassl, Benjamin Nyphenegger and Magdalene Ho. As well as the concerts, rehearsals with such outstanding musicians are particularly instructive. In December 2025, I stepped in for the Mendelssohn Octet – originally planned to feature only professors from the HMTM – after Kirill Troussov had to pull out.
In January 2026, Prof. Julia Fischer’s class gave a chamber music concert at the Allerheiligen Hofkirche in Munich, at which I performed, amongst other pieces, the Dvořák Trio as first violin, with Julia Fischer on the viola. My most important chamber music mentors include: Raphaël Merlin, Christoph Poppen and Silke Avenhaus.

Debut at the Elbphilharmonie
In October 2025, I was invited as a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben to the annual charity concert in the main hall of the Elbphilharmonie. As well as playing in the chamber orchestra, I also had the opportunity to perform as a soloist with the orchestra. It was a great pleasure to rehearse the programme in Hamburg under the baton of Fedor Rudin and, in the process, to get to know many of my fellow scholarship holders even better. The crystal-clear acoustics of the hall were ideal for our programme, which ranged from Mozart and Paganini to contemporary music, and it remains an unforgettable musical experience.

Mecklenburg-Vorpommern festival
In September 2025, together with the fantastic pianist Magdalene Ho (winner of the 2023 Clara Haskil Competition), I gave my second concert (after 2023) as part of the ‘Young Elite’ series at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. We performed works by Beethoven, Brahms, Hindemith and Franck. The concert took place in a very atmospheric church and, as is often the case in such settings, I also introduced the pieces and shared a few entertaining or interesting stories about the works with the audience.

Sibelius and Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in the Herkulessaal at the Residenz Munich
In December 2024, I stepped in as the soloist for Sibelius's Violin Concerto with the Bavarian State Orchestra Youth Orchestra. We performed in the Herkulessaal at the Munich Residenz, which was an especially meaningful experience for me as I'm born and raised in Munich. To perform as a soloist in the very hall where I had attended so many concerts featuring world-class soloists and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra was a truly unforgettable moment—it felt like a childhood dream come true.
It was a great pleasure to finally get to know the hall from the stage and to be able to share the concert with so many friends and acquaintances in the audience. It was all the more wonderful that I was able to perform there again in March 2025, this time with the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. (You can listen to the first movement of this concerto under ‘Media’.)
